Inspiration
A friend of mine was doing an artist residency in a small wooden house on a lake. I went and visited her during that time, and that's when I dicovered the inside of the Maison sur pilotis. My mind was instantely blown by the creative possibilities of this bright interior with a unique atmosphere.
The remote location, the wood panelling and the ochre hemlp walls directly brought to my mind a dreamy elopement scene.
We chose a very natural palette for the table and the flowers, from the talented Hortense & Joséphine — white and cream shades enhance the tones of wood and muted ochre on the walls. Silverware and silvered glass bring a bright touch while keeping the whole very soft.
Before staging the lovely Rozenn in this interior reminiscent of a fisherman's shed, we stopped by the Northern coast of Brittany. Rough and mineral, it's a perfect frame to emphasize the delicacy of the lace and tulle dress from designer Tara Deva.
